Content audits and gap analysis

I review what you have, assess what's working and what isn't, and map out exactly what needs to change. This isn't a spreadsheet exercise — it's editorial judgment about what your content is and isn't doing for your audience and your business.

Most organizations have more content than they realize and less useful content than they think. An audit tells you where to focus, what to fix, and what to stop producing.

Content strategy and structure

Before writing a word, I figure out who the piece is actually for, what it needs to argue, and how it should be built. The strategy and the execution come from the same person, which means nothing gets lost in translation between the brief and the final draft.

This is the work that separates content that performs from content that just exists. Especially valuable for complex, high-stakes topics where vague messaging actively costs you trust.

Long-form content and rewrites

Blog posts, guides, product pages, FAQs, landing pages — written from scratch or rebuilt from weak drafts. I'm particularly strong in industries where content has to earn trust before it earns a click: fintech, payments, SaaS, and cybersecurity.

If your agency or AI tool is producing content that technically covers the topic but doesn't actually serve the reader, that's the gap I close.

How I work

Straightforward engagement, no overhead.

I work as an individual contributor — no account managers, no handoffs, no layers between us. You work directly with me from brief to delivery.

Availability

Open to full-time roles and freelance or contract engagements globally. Based in the Greater Toronto Area.

I prefer to start with a short conversation about what you're working on before scoping anything. If it's a good fit, we'll know quickly.

What I don't do

Analytics, paid media, social media management, or performance reporting. I focus on the words and the strategy behind them.
